Sharon Jutla, award winning interior designer and founder of Sharon Jutla Interiors shares some of the Interior Design trends for 2018 and talks about the impact technology has had on Interior Design.

? Maximalism is one of the few trends that have sparked the internet recently.

? Comfortplaces is another trend that is on the opposite scale. Overall, it is casual and it focuses on space experience rather than bare aesthetics.

? Monochrome is the final trend that is amazingly taking off. It contrasts the preceding two through tones of calming interiors that shade the same color.

Smeg has unveiled their latest collection, designed in collaboration with Dolce&Gabbana, Sicily Is My Love, unveiled at Milan Design Fair, and features a stunning selection of toasters, citrus juicers, coffee machines, kettles, blenders, stand mixers and slow juicers, each adorned with Dolce&Gabbana’s signature style of bright, fresh and colourful motifs. The designs are inspired by Sicily, home to Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, and is a reference back to Italy and its history and heritage of food and art. These pieces of art will turn any kitchen into an inspired and artistic space, ideal for creating the most delicious of dishes.
